In this advent calendar, the windows open to reveal pictures of Christmas ornaments.
This is the first calendar that husband and wife team Dirk and Krista Kreuter produced. They had been driving through the German countryside and saw a house with many windows, prompting them to see it as a kind of an Advent calendar. The idea remained in their thoughts, and before they knew it they had produced their first advent calendar. Weihachtshaus is that house!
